【寂空&YUJI】安倍総理大臣夫人とブリジット・フランス大統領夫人の「志髙荘」訪問での盆栽ライブパフォーマンス

去る6月26日、安倍昭恵内閣総理大臣夫人と公式実務訪問賓客として訪日されていた

ブリジット・マクロン・フランス共和国大統領夫人との懇談会に招かれ、 寂空＆YUJIで、盆栽師 平尾成志さんとの盆栽ライブパフォーマンスを披露させていただきました。

盆栽と三味線、日本文化を語る上では欠かせない両者の新しいコラボレーションを 両夫人に楽しんでいただきました。 ミュージシャンとしてこのような場にお招きいただき、 表現の場を作っていただきましたことに際して、 平尾さん、安倍昭恵内閣総理大臣夫人、ブリジット大統領夫人に感謝致します！ ありがとうございました！

Performing as Jack and Yuji, we are delighted to have participated at a live bonsai pruning event with Bonsai Master Masashi Hirao, held for Mrs. Akie Abe, spouse of Prime Minister Shinzō Abe, and special guest of honour Mrs. Brigitte Macron, First Lady of the French Republic and spouse of President Emmanuel Macron, invited to a diplomatic meeting at Shikōsō in Tōkyō.

Both Mrs. Abe and Mrs. Macron appeared to enjoy our contemporary pairing of shamisen and bonsai, which have long held a fundamental place in representing Japanese culture.

For the honour of being invited to play in such beautiful surroundings, to represent Japan as musicians, and for this memorable experience, we would like to express our deep gratitude to Masashi Hirao, Mrs. Abe, and First Lady Mrs. Macron.
